Internet Marketing is a big source of online marketing, and there is a lots of potential to implement this and there are several business models that are existing as of now, although there are huge number of business models yet to be named and used. They are:

  • E-COMMERCE: e-commerce is generating the economy by selling the goods or products online. The goods are sold from Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Customer (B2C) and also direct from Customer to Customer (C2C). Just selling the goods and make the money over the internet is the simple way like ebay, online shopping.
  • LEAD BASED WEBSITES: Leads are the database of the potential customers. in retail business, they are generated by walk-ins and in Internet Marketing this database is created by the visitors.
  • AFFILIATE MARKETING: It is a process of selling goods by second party other than the company. Company provides the leads for sales and the second party sells the goods and share the profits of the company.
  • LOCAL INTERNET MARKETING: This is a business model, which is generally used by the small companies exploiting the local business by using local directory data, social media marketing etc. It uses internet to access all these local and accessible customers.
